Coaching Clinics

In 2017, after working with communities for over a decade in the development of track & field, SaskATF and Saskatchewan Athletics had a strategic planning session and asked the question,

“How do we sustainably build track & field at a community level?”.

The answer to this question was simple, we needed to shift our priorities to focus more on localized coach development and capacity building. Having certified, local coaches with access to support services is the only way to ensure sustainable programming. This change of focus meant the delivery of an NCCP Track and Field Sport Coach Course. The course was specifically designed to meet the needs of potential coaches residing in rural and remote communities from its methodology to the practical instruction and participation.

Let us help you design a program that fits your community!
